You Can Make a Difference in the Lives of Teens at HSRA

HSRA Students

Since 1998, the High School for Recording Arts (HSRA) charter school in St. Paul has nurtured and positively impacted the life and educational experiences of hundreds of teens who might otherwise have dropped out of high school. HSRA has created a successful learning community wherein students – often neglected and unsupported in the traditional school system – have blossomed, excelled and gone on to pursue postsecondary education, employment and the aspirations they were given the freedom to dream while attending HSRA.

Your support helps us to continue our unique program, which includes:

  • The Fo Show, a student-produced weekly radio program that airs on B96 KTTB-FM
  • Another Level Records, a student-run music label
  • Sweat Equity Enterprises, a program designed to match students with professional designers in New York
  • Click4Life, a seatbelt safety initiative produced in partnership with State Farm Insurance
  • Student travel to locations such as Los Angeles, Guatemala and Africa
  • Access to professional recording studios and the latest technology

Volunteer - at the event or at the school

A tournament like this can't happen without dedicated volunteers. If you would like to help out on tournament day, please contact Saintanne Benmira at 651-287-0897 (saintanne@hsra.org). Volunteer positions include pre-tournament setup, registration desk, on-course games, silent auction, scoring and post-tournament clean-up. We always need helpers at the school, too.

HSRA will also gladly accept online donations via PayPal if you can not attend or don't wish to play:
